Anthill Studios, the co-producer, has announced that its star-studded and intriguing new Nollywood film, “My Mother is a Witch,” is scheduled to premiere in cinemas across Nigeria on May 23rd.

Anthill Studios released the official trailer for the highly anticipated blockbuster on its Instagram page, generating excitement among Nollywood enthusiasts.

“My Mother is a Witch” is a collaborative production between Anthill Studios and Frame Flix HQ, with distribution handled by FilmOne Entertainment.

The film is directed by the acclaimed filmmaker Niyi Akinmolayan and boasts a stellar cast, including prominent actors such as Efe Irele, Mercy Aigbe, Timini Egbuson, and Neo Akpofure, among others.

The highly anticipated film is produced by Anthill Studios, in collaboration with Frame Flix HQ, and it is distributed by FilmOne Entertainment.

Set against the vibrant backdrops of Benin City, Nigeria, and London, the narrative of “My Mother is a Witch” delves into the fractured relationship between a mother and daughter. The story unfolds against a rich tapestry of memory, misunderstanding, and unresolved pain.
