BBNaija star Nelly Mbonu says co-star Kassia caused her fallout with husband Kellyrae. She claims Kassia lied and stirred tension during the show

Nelly Mbonu blames Kassia for the breakdown of her once-close friendship with her husband and fellow Big Brother Naija Season 9 housemate, Kellyrae, during a tense exchange on the latest reunion episode.

The reality star made the revelation while discussing the current state of her relationship with Kellyrae, who had previously shared a strong bond with her in the Big Brother house. Their connection became a talking point before Kellyrae disclosed that they were, in fact, married.

According to Nelly, the shift in Kellyrae’s behaviour towards her happened after a falling out with Kassia, whom she accused of spreading false claims that damaged her trust.

“It never for once felt like me and Kellyrae had issues,” Nelly said during the reunion, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu. When asked by Ebuka when she first noticed a change in Kellyrae’s attitude, she answered pointedly, “Obviously, it’s the wife.”

Kassia, visibly offended, quickly interjected, “Hmm? You stopped talking to him. What do you mean by, ‘obviously, it’s the wife’?”

Nelly stood her ground, cutting in sharply, “Can you shut up and let me speak? … Anyways, like I was saying, the wife obviously had issues with me in the house because I told Onyeka you said something that you told me Onyeka told you.

That thing you told me, you were so confident that Onyeka told you that Onyeka told you that. You never told me that it was your instincts.”

Attempting to clarify her stance, Kassia responded, “I said two things. Onyeka said the first one, the second one was my instincts. Maybe you didn’t understand.”

The episode stirred strong reactions from viewers on social media, with fans divided over who was truly at fault in the triangle involving Nelly, Kassia, and Kellyrae.
