Blessing Obasi has expressed gratitude to fans and filmmakers after receiving positive reviews for her role in Blood Sisters 2

Actress Blessing Obasi has expressed gratitude following the wave of positive reviews and praise for her performance in the newly released series, Blood Sisters 2.

The Nollywood star took to Instagram to share her excitement after hosting a watch party for the production, describing the experience as both humbling and memorable.

Blessing Obasi said she was overwhelmed by the love, support and encouraging messages she received from fans, colleagues and guests who attended the event held at R.M Lagos.

According to the actress, seeing people gather to celebrate the project and her growth as an actor was a special moment she would cherish.

“What a beautiful evening?!” she wrote.

“I’m still overwhelmed by the love, support, and kind words shared at my Blood Sisters Watch Party. Seeing my people come together to celebrate this project and my journey as an actor was truly, truly special.”

The actress thanked attendees for watching the series, sharing their reactions and supporting her work. She noted that the encouragement she received meant more than many people realised.

Blessing Obasi also reserved special appreciation for Mo Abudu and the production team behind Blood Sisters 2 for giving her the opportunity to be part of the acclaimed project.

She described it as an honour to portray the character Mimi, adding that the recognition she has received for the role has been deeply rewarding.

“The reviews, messages, and conversations have been incredibly humbling. Thank you for watching, for cheering me on, and for believing in the work,” she said.
