Biodun Okeowo shared a reflective video on Instagram where she urged people to embrace humility and live rightly, describing life as fleeting and fragile.

“Life is vanity. Life is too fickle. Let’s do right. God help us,” she said.

However, the tone shifted when a follower commented that the message was directed at Funke Akindele, accusing the actress of pride. The remark quickly triggered a sharp response from Biodun Okeowo.

Visibly displeased, Biodun Okeowo warned the fan against making such statements on her page, insisting that social media users often fuel unnecessary conflict between celebrities.

“You fans are the major problem. Never comment like that on my page again,” she stated firmly.

The defence has added another layer to the ongoing Nollywood conversation surrounding tensions between top industry figures.

The drama follows a viral moment at a movie premiere where Funke Akindele was seen allegedly ignoring a greeting from colleague Toyin Abraham, an incident that sparked widespread online debate.

In response to the controversy, Toyin Abraham later expressed strong emotions on social media, further intensifying public interest in the situation.

Since then, several Nollywood personalities have weighed in, urging calm and caution in interpreting the situation.

Actress Nkechi Blessing advised fans not to be drawn into unnecessary drama, while media personality Do2dtun called for clarity in relationships within the entertainment industry.

Meanwhile, actor Tobi Makinde posted a cryptic message that many interpreted as a subtle reaction to the unfolding situation.

Social commentator Bobrisky also weighed in, urging the public to remain neutral and avoid taking sides without full knowledge of events behind the scenes.

Actress Iyabo Ojo, who hosted the event where the incident occurred, previously addressed criticism, stating that she had attempted reconciliation between the parties but would no longer intervene.
