Afrobeats sensation Burna Boy is facing the heat from critics, as video of him leisurely driving his Rolls Royce through the bustling streets of Lagos, caught significant online attention.

After an extended tour abroad, the music star has returned to the country, and it’s quite evident that he’s relishing every moment of his time here.

Quite recently, the Odogwu sensation was observed gracing the thoroughfares of Lagos alongside his entourage, while he luxuriously navigated the cityscape in his distinguished Rolls Royce.

Burna Boy was captured driving his car between his police escorts, who were audibly sounding their sirens, executing a left turn onto a road prominently featuring a bold green and white one-way sign.

The individuals behind the recorded video, could be distinctly heard enthusiastically cheering and showering Burna Boy with accolades, with exuberant shouts at maximum volume.

Fans who stumbled upon the video leveled accusations against the singer for disregarding traffic regulations by driving against the one-way traffic rules.

A subset of these fans highlighted the apparent hypocrisy, pointing out that he’s failing to live up to the ideals he addresses in his songs that critique inadequate governance and oppression.

In addition, there were fervent demands for him to face a substantial financial penalty as a consequence of his actions.
