Nollywood actor Yul Edochie claims he charges ₦20 million for event appearances and always arrives accompanied by his ancestors and “ten thousand spirits from Nteje & Umudioka,” as he shared on Instagram

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has made a rather unusual disclosure regarding the fee he charges for attending events. The controversial actor took to his Instagram page on Monday, June 16, 2025, to state that whenever he is paid to make an appearance, he never shows up alone.

Edochie boldly claimed that his charges amount to ₦20 million, and when he makes an appearance, he does so accompanied by an ethereal entourage: “all my ancestors and ten thousand spirits from Nteje & Umudioka.”

When I charge you 20 million naira to make an appearance at your event, I do not come alone. I come with all my ancestors and ten thousand spirits from Nteje & Umudioka.

He elaborated on this intriguing claim, writing: “When I charge you 20 million naira to make an appearance at your event, I do not come alone. I come with all my ancestors and ten thousand spirits from Nteje & Umudioka. On this day, Nsugbe was on fire. I stepped out to support my good friend, Barr.
