Chika Ike has denied rumours linking her pregnancy to billionaire Ned Nwoko, stating she has no interest in becoming anyone’s seventh wife

Nollywood actress Chika Ike has dismissed rumours linking her pregnancy to billionaire politician and businessman Ned Nwoko, husband of fellow actress Regina Daniels.

Taking to Instagram, Ike made it clear that Nwoko is not the father of her child and that she has no interest in joining his polygamous household.

Addressing the speculation, Ike expressed her frustration over the persistent rumours about her personal life.

“There have been all sorts of lies peddled about me in the media for years, but I always treated them like what they are—rumours that needed no response.

But this is different. This is about my child… Ned isn’t the father of my child, and whoever’s name you might come up with later in your guessing games—like I’ve said before—I’m not about to be anyone’s seventh wife! Polygamy isn’t for me.”

The actress, who had kept her pregnancy private for months, stated that she values her privacy and finds public speculation amusing.

Meanwhile, Senator Ned Nwoko, who represents Delta North in the National Assembly, has also shut down the rumours.

His communications office released a statement on Monday, calling the claims “baseless” and dismissing them as “a product of malicious speculation.”

The controversy intensified after actress Regina Daniels, Nwoko’s wife, reportedly deactivated her Instagram account.

This move sparked online speculation, with some social media users suggesting that her absence was linked to the pregnancy rumours surrounding Ike and Nwoko.
