Nigerian singer Portable has revealed he is undergoing psychiatric treatment while pleading for forgiveness amid his conflict with Ogun authorities

Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola Olalomi, popularly known as Portable, has publicly disclosed that he is receiving psychiatric treatment while pleading for forgiveness amid his ongoing conflict with the Ogun State Government.

The singer, who is wanted by the Ogun State Police Command for allegedly assaulting government officials, took to Instagram on Tuesday to express his fears and struggles.

In a series of emotional statements, Portable insisted that he was not a criminal but had been unfairly targeted. He revealed that he suffers from a mental health condition and is undergoing treatment.

“I fear government. I am a federal government liability,” he said. “I’m a madman; I have medications that I usually take.

You can confirm from Aro Hospital. I have a card that certifies me as one of their patients.”

The singer, known for his controversial personality and outspoken nature, emphasised that he had no issues with the police but was simply unwell and frightened.

Expressing his fears of being arrested or harmed, Portable made a heartfelt plea for understanding and forgiveness.

“I do not want to die young. I do not want them to lock me up. I did not do anything bad. I am human, I am not perfect. If I wronged you, I am sorry,” he said.

He further claimed that his troubles were a result of spiritual attacks and ongoing health issues, seeking leniency from the Ogun State Government.

“All this evil happening to me is spiritual. I am facing a lot of sickness. Pain in my body. I am taking care of myself,” he wrote. “Ogun State Government, forgive me.”

Portable’s emotional appeal has sparked a wave of reactions on social media. While some fans expressed concern for his mental well-being, others questioned the sincerity of his claims.
