He encouraged youngsters to prioritise happiness, make wise financial decisions, and invest early while they still have the energy and opportunity to do so.

“Enjoy yourself now that you are young. Old age is full of challenges,” he said, listing common health issues associated with ageing such as diabetes, hypertension, heart disease, kidney and liver conditions, stroke, and neurological problems.

The veteran actor stressed that while enjoyment is important, preparation for the future is equally necessary, noting that financial responsibilities tend to become heavier with age.

Chiwetalu Agu also referenced the Bible, quoting Ecclesiastes 3:1, to emphasise that every stage of life has its own purpose and timing.

He further advised young people to strengthen their relationship with God, maintain good family values, and treat others with respect as part of building a meaningful life.

According to him, financial discipline is essential, as future expenses are often more demanding than present leisure spending.

“Your bills will not pay themselves. Invest now while you can,” he said, urging young people to strike a balance between enjoying life and planning for the future.
