Dapo Opayinka hits movie location in Abeokuta as production begins for his latest project, The Telepath.
The UK-based actor and filmmaker is stepping into the spotlight with a powerful, high-concept story that blends humour, fate, and resilience.
Written by Dapo Opayinka himself, The Telepath is produced by Toyin Moore, scripted by Basirat Adeoye, and directed by Tunde Komolafe.
The film features a strong cast including Tunde Aderinoye, Lawrence Solanke, Bukola Ikuomola, and Opayinka in a lead role.
The storyline follows an unlucky, unemployed man who unexpectedly gains a supernatural gift after receiving a slap from a frustrated soldier; a moment that acts as a bizarre brain reset. What follows is a journey of transformation filled with twists and depth.
