Nollywood actor Yul Edochie’s daughter, Danielle, has yanked off her father’s name from her profile on social media.

Danielle, who proudly used her father’s name, Danielle Yul Edochie, on her social media profiles has now edited her name to be Danielle Diana Dubem.

Press did a quick check on Danielle’s Instagram page and noted that her name has indeed been changed.

This change was followed by praises as many supported the teenager for her boldness.

Sandypreneur wrote, “If na you nko? Do you know what it means to watch your parent embarrass you daily? Smh.”

Mr Azeez applauded her saying, “SHE JUST TOOK A BOLD STEP TO DISOWN HER DAD! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH.”

Phelle wrote, “Men do not know the damages this things do to their kids mostly on their daughters. This same act of yul my dad did. Till today I. Ve trust issues with men . It’s externally damaging to daughter . Tomorrow them go come beg and expect you to forgive and forget the past that they hurt . Mine even asked me what abomination did I commit ? 😂. Like this man is a joke . You threw away your family for decades over a strange woman. Then turn around when you think you can benefit from us to be asking me what abomination did u commit? Haaaa ! Men! I have trust issues on them “

The actor’s only daughter made this move following the drama that ensued between her father and her mother May Yul Edochie, even while her mother still maintains her estranged husband’s name on social media.

Recall that Yul Edochie spoke out by dragging his May publicly on social media. He countered a New Year post shared by his estranged wife that stated the past year was a tough one and revealed the leisure steps she took while pretending to mourn their son, Kambilichukwu, who died in the same year.

He noted that May carried out these activities with the endorsement of her married boyfriend, dragging her to manipulate the public about her state of mind

May, in her New Year speech, spoke on the misfortunes that befell her in 2023, describing it as a series of catastrophic events that left her sad.

Her statement contradicted Yul’s own, who described the past year as the best, filled with achievements and grace from God.
