Femi Otedola advice to daughter Temi Otedola during her wedding reception has sparked conversations after the billionaire businessman gave heartfelt and traditional counsel to the new couple.

Temi tied the knot with singer Oluwatosin  AFemi  Otedola advice to daughter Temi at her wedding to Mr Eazi stirs emotions as he urges her to honour marriage and keep conflicts privatejibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, in a private ceremony held in Iceland in August 2025.

The couple had earlier hosted a wedding in Monaco in May and a Yoruba traditional ceremony at the Otedola residence in Dubai in July.

In a now-viral video from the August reception, Femi Otedola praised the couple’s love and entrepreneurial drive, describing their union as one “made in heaven.”

“You found a great guy… He’s your husband, he’s your boss. There’s no more dad. Don’t call me up,” he told Temi, urging her to fully commit to her marital role.

He commended both Temi and Mr Eazi for their shared ambition and mutual respect, saying, “You’re truly in love with each other… and you’re both real hustlers.”

The Femi Otedola advice to daughter emphasized the importance of privacy in marriage:

“When you have issues, keep it within your walls. Don’t call friends. Just handle it together.”

He concluded with a powerful gesture—offering the couple a significant gift and inspiring words:

“Out-think, out-manoeuvre, and out-spend. You’ll be great people.”

Following the ceremony, Temi updated her social media handle to reflect her new surname Ajibade captioning a post “Mr and Mrs Ajibade.”

This move has reignited debates in Nigerian feminist circles over whether married women should adopt their husband’s surname or retain their maiden names.

Still, many online users have praised Otedola’s words as a mix of old-school wisdom and fatherly love, calling it one of the most heartfelt moments of the year.
