Funke Akindele made the remarks during a recent appearance on The Morayo Show, where she discussed body enhancement, personal choices and the pressures associated with fame.

“I love to see beautiful women with beautiful bodies. I actually like BBL, the skinny ones not the big ones. I love the flat tummy and liposuction. I want to do it but I don’t have the mind,” Funke Akindele said.

While acknowledging the growing popularity of cosmetic procedures, the actress emphasised that individuals should approach such decisions with care and moderation.

“I am not against BBL. If you want to enhance your beauty, go ahead but don’t overdo things. Be careful,” she added.

Beyond aesthetics, Funke Akindele offered a deeper reflection on the emotional cost of stardom, describing herself as an “extremist” in relationships who loves intensely but can also distance herself quickly.

She admitted that discipline, while essential to her success, has sometimes led her to let go of close relationships.

The actress also highlighted the isolating nature of fame, describing it as a sobering reality that often requires personal sacrifice.

“It is actually lonely at the top because if you want to remain at the top, you have to be guarded and disciplined. It is going to be very boring because you won’t have friends,” Funke Akindele said.

She noted that she is still learning to manage relationships more effectively, while maintaining that her mental health remains a top priority.
