According to Idia Aisien, she once gave significant amounts of money to men she was dating in the hope that the relationships would grow into long-term commitments.

“I used to give men money. They would say their business was bad and I would give them a couple of million,” she said.

Idia Aisien explained that her intention was to encourage partners who were trying to build businesses or stabilise their careers.

She said she believed that supporting a partner during difficult periods would eventually strengthen the relationship.

However, the actress revealed that some of the men later took her kindness for granted.

In one striking experience, Idia Aisien said she became suspicious when a partner suddenly became unreachable after receiving financial support from her.

She later discovered that the man had travelled with another woman on a luxury trip abroad.

“I was trying to reach him and his phone wasn’t going through. Later he said his phone wasn’t working,” she recalled.

According to Idia Aisien, she eventually found out that the same man had flown another woman business class to an overseas destination.
