The incident, which occurred days prior, drew significant attention after a video capturing their tense exchange went viral.

In the widely circulated clip, both actresses were seen wearing matching outfits. Laide Bakare was heard questioning Eniola Badmus’s mental state, to which Eniola responded with a cold stare before silently walking away.

In her first public statement since the altercation, Eniola Badmus took to her Instagram page on Tuesday to promote peace and unity within the entertainment industry. While she did not explicitly mention Laide Bakare, her message strongly alluded to the recent public spat.

“Life has a way of teaching us that true strength lies not in conflict, but in unity,” Eniola Badmus wrote. “There is no need for jealousy when we can all succeed. Your success doesn’t diminish mine, just as mine does not take away from yours.”

She further urged her colleagues to rise above tension and competition, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and mutual support within the industry.

“There’s strength in unity and a future brighter than any victory we’ve pursued alone,” she added, seemingly extending an olive branch without directly addressing the specifics of the confrontation.
