Speaking at the baby shower held in Canada, Iyabo admitted she didn’t want the event due to growing media attention and social media scrutiny.

“Aunty Lola told me she wants to do baby shower for Priscilla’s child. I was like, ‘We’ve been doing so much since February, the wedding was long.’… And because of the social media wahala, I didn’t want it at first,” she shared.

Despite her hesitations, Iyabo eventually agreed, citing her close bond with Aunty Lola, who helped plan the gathering.
