Nollywood filmmaker Jade Osiberu welcomes her first child, baby boy Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba, celebrating motherhood at age 40

Nollywood filmmaker Jade Osiberu has announced the birth of her first child, a baby boy, at the age of 40.

The award-winning director shared the joyful news on her verified Instagram page, marking a new chapter in her life.

Osiberu revealed that she welcomed her son, named Moraraoluwa Jaiyeoba, on August 8, 2025.

Reflecting on her journey, she noted that God’s promise to complete her in her 40th year had been fulfilled, describing the experience of motherhood as humbling and life-defining.

“08/08/2025 My life changed forever. God said in your 40th year, I will complete you. God really does make all things beautiful in his time,” Osiberu wrote.

She went on to pray for her child, asking for God’s guidance, wisdom, and protection over his life, adding that she feels “seen and loved by God.”
