Uche Ogbodo blocks May Edochie

Uche Ogbodo explains why she blocked May Edochie on social media, citing toxic trolling and allegations of karma linked to a robbery at her store.

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has explained why she blocked May Edochie, the estranged wife of actor Yul Edochie, on social media.

Ogbodo’s decision came after a series of negative and mocking comments from May Edochie’s fans, particularly in response to the actress’s recent robbery ordeal.

Ogbodo had earlier shared the traumatic experience of her boutique being robbed, but instead of support, she was met with harsh criticism.

In a series of Instagram posts, Ogbodo accused May’s fans of trolling her and even claiming that the robbery was her “karma” for supporting Yul Edochie’s second wife, Judy Austin.

In response, Ogbodo fired back at what she described as a “toxic bunch of lunatics,” stating that no matter how negative the comments, she wouldn’t let them overshadow her life or joy.

She clarified that karma does not visit innocent people with pure hearts and condemned the harsh treatment she was receiving.

“The real karma is coming to you for being evil and vile towards people,” she wrote, expressing frustration at the toxic atmosphere created by May’s followers.

Ogbodo also explained that the decision to block May Edochie was partly due to the constant negativity and the feeling that May seemed to enjoy the toxicity surrounding her fans.

Despite the tension, Ogbodo urged her followers to focus on positivity and not to be swayed by the vitriol online, adding, “Misfortune is life, and it’s rotational; it will surely swing. So wait for your own turn.”

This latest drama adds to the ongoing public tension between the Edochie family and various figures in Nollywood, with the dynamics of support and backlash remaining a prominent theme in the media.
