This incident is the latest in a string of similar cases involving Nollywood celebrities and delivery riders. Adunni Ade recently called out an InDrive rider for ending a trip prematurely and refusing to answer her calls, threatening to take drastic measures if her order was not delivered.

Media personality Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi also shared her experience of a rider who misappropriated food items from her delivery.

Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde even placed a curse on a scammer impersonating her, expressing her frustration with individuals tarnishing her reputation.

Portable’s baby mama, Ashabi, cursed a scammer who used her name and picture to defraud people, and Alesh Sanni placed a N500k bounty on a woman who was scamming people while posing as his friend.

These incidents follow previous reports from celebrities like Peter Okoye and businessman Obi Cubana, who have also fallen victim to online scams and impersonation. This Joke Jigan rider scam is just one example of the growing problem.
