Judy Austin celebrates mother-in-law Barrister Josephine Edochie with prayers and warm wishes on her birthday

Nollywood actress Judy Austin has celebrated her mother-in-law, Josephine Edochie, on her birthday with a heartfelt message and prayers.

Sharing a photo of Barrister Josephine Edochie on social media, Judy Austin described her husband’s mother as a beautiful and kind woman while praying for long life, peace and happiness for her.

“Happy beautiful birthday, mummy. You’re so beautiful and kind. May God Almighty continue to keep you for us,” the actress wrote.

Judy Austin also prayed for good health and happiness as she urged her mother-in-law to enjoy her special day.

The birthday message comes amid continued public attention surrounding the Edochie family and the actress’ marriage to Yul Edochie.

Last year, Yul Edochie also celebrated his mother with a touching tribute, praying for more wonderful years and asking God to continue protecting her.

Despite controversies surrounding her relationship with the actor, Judy Austin has repeatedly shown affection towards members of the Edochie family.

On the 79th birthday of veteran actor Pete Edochie, Judy Austin praised him as a living legend, the Lion of Africa and one of the continent’s greatest names.

The actress had also celebrated Pete Edochie on his 78th birthday, describing him as a legendary figure who deserves to be honoured and loved.

Earlier this year during Mother’s Day celebrations, Yul Edochie publicly celebrated only Judy Austin and his mother, ignoring his estranged wife, May Edochie.

In previous interviews and social media posts, Yul Edochie has often spoken fondly about his parents and the lessons they taught him while growing up.

The actor once recalled how his mother would pour holy water on his head whenever he visited because of his stubborn behaviour as a child.

Yul Edochie also revealed that one of the greatest lessons he learned in filmmaking came from directing his father, Pete Edochie, whom he praised for his exceptional artistic brilliance.

However, the Edochie family has faced public scrutiny since Yul announced his marriage to Judy Austin.

At the height of the controversy, Pete Edochie disclosed in an interview that he was unaware his son had taken a second wife. Actress Rita Edochie also claimed the veteran actor did not support the marriage.
