Nigerian skit maker and actress KieKie has opened up on her brief period of living with her husband, Tunji Ilori, before their formal wedding ceremony.

Speaking during a conversation with media personality Toke Makinwa, KieKie disclosed that the couple stayed together for about four months prior to their white wedding, describing the arrangement as a practical decision driven by circumstances rather than a planned lifestyle choice.

She explained that her house rent was due to expire around the same time the couple had completed their traditional marriage rites and were preparing for their wedding scheduled for January. Rather than renewing the lease for a short period, she opted to move in temporarily.

KieKie noted that both she and her husband had demanding schedules during that period, which meant they were often away for work engagements and did not spend extended time together at home.

The content creator added that the arrangement did not significantly change her perception of her partner, as their busy routines limited any deeper day-to-day adjustment.
