Kunle Afod, with 38 years in the Nigerian entertainment industry, shares profound life lessons and announces plans for a 2025 big-screen project and a new series of the Proverbs Challenge.

Kunle Afod, a respected actor and director with 38 years of experience in the Nigerian entertainment industry, recently shared valuable insights into life and his career in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos.

Afod revealed a significant lesson he has learned throughout his journey: “There is no friend or foe anywhere in life.”

He cautioned that people should not view others as permanent friends or enemies, as life is unpredictable, and circumstances can change at any moment.

He noted that individuals considered friends could betray you, while enemies may play a crucial role in your success. “I have been able to learn these two phases of life which everyone should beware of,” Afod shared.

Having started his acting career in 1986, Afod emphasized the importance of being open-minded and flexible, saying that the person you view as a friend might hurt you, and someone you see as an enemy could become a vital ally.

In addition to reflecting on these life lessons, Afod revealed exciting plans for the future. He announced that he is gearing up for a significant big-screen project in 2025 and is preparing to release a new series of the Proverbs Challenge. His passion for creating competitive content continues to drive his creative pursuits.

Offering advice to emerging actors and directors, Afod encouraged them to consistently improve their skills and knowledge.

“Directors should also be willing to carry out lots of research to improve on their work, upgrade their knowledge from time to time,” he said, underscoring the importance of continuous learning in the ever-evolving entertainment industry.
