Nollywood actress Laide Bakare has stated that she has no problem with remarriage, revealing she would leave a marriage if it is not working rather than remain unhappy.

Laide Bakare remarriage comments came during an interview on the Real Live with Aunty Ayo podcast, where she spoke openly about her personal views on relationships and marriage.

The actress noted that while her religious beliefs discourage multiple marriages, she would not hesitate to start afresh if she felt a relationship was not going in the right direction.

“There is nothing I can do. I won’t keep trying anyways,” she said, adding that she does not believe in staying in an unfulfilling marriage.

Laide Bakare also emphasised that she does not struggle with loneliness, stating that she is comfortable being on her own and emotionally independent.
