According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to a distress call at around 5:30 AM after witnesses reported a “half-naked man causing a scene.”

The individual, later confirmed to be Lil Nas X, was found wearing only underwear and cowboy boots, erratically dancing and shouting at cars and passersby to “come to the party.”

When approached by officers, the 26-year-old reportedly “charged” at them, prompting his arrest on suspicion of battery.

He was then rushed to a nearby hospital, where authorities say a possible drug overdose is being investigated.

A now-viral video published by TMZ shows the Old Town Road hitmaker in a manic state, yelling in the street while performing erratic dance moves.

The footage has reignited public concerns about Lil Nas X’s mental health, with fans and critics alike expressing shock and worry over the incident.

“This isn’t just another publicity stunt,” one fan wrote on X (formerly Twitter). “He needs real help.”

Lil Nas X has long been known for pushing boundaries, from his record-breaking debut single to the controversial Montero (Call Me By Your Name) music video, which drew backlash from conservative groups in the U.S. for its provocative imagery.

Despite the controversies, the rapper has maintained a loyal fan base and is currently gearing up for the release of his sophomore album “Dreamboy” set to drop later this year.

This latest incident has amplified calls for celebrities to prioritize their mental well-being, particularly in high-pressure creative industries.

With Lil Nas X previously opening up about anxiety and depression, Thursday’s episode may serve as a reminder of the struggles many public figures face behind closed doors.
