Lil Kesh stabbed in Lagos—Afrobeats rapper Keshinro Ololade, popularly known as Lil Kesh, has broken his silence after surviving a violent robbery attack in Lagos on Wednesday.

The artist was reportedly ambushed by unknown assailants, attempted to rob him of his jewelry.

In the process, he was stabbed in the neck and ear, sustaining deep wounds that required immediate medical attention.

The rapper was rushed to a hospital, where doctors quickly worked to stitch his injuries and stabilize his condition.

After two days of silence, Lil Kesh spoke out for the first time on Friday via social media.

“Life threw me a curveball, but I’m safe, healing, and blessed to be here. Grateful for the love, support and prayers,” he wrote.

The news of Lil Kesh’s stabbing sent shockwaves through the Nigerian music community and his fan base.
