The late Odogwu stated that having maids who are mature often leads to polygamy, which he was vehemently against.

Rita Edochie who at the time said her husband won’t ever cheat on her added that she never knew his grandchild (Yul Edochie), would be the one to break his grandfather’s legacy, which has been upheld by elders before him.

A FATHER INLAW LIKE NEVER CALLED ME AND SAID RITA, SIR, I DON’T LIKE THIS IDEA OF HAVING MATURE GIRLS AS HOUSE HELPS BECAUSE HE DOES NOT WANT ANYTHING POLYGAMY IN HIS HOME.
HE TOLD ME THIS BECAUSE I WAS ALWAYS HAVING “MATURE GIRLS” AS MY “HOUSE HELPS”.

I SAID TO HIM PAPA I KNOW MY HUSBAND AND THAT IS THE REASON I CAN AFFORD TO DO THAT AND HIS ANSWER WAS TOH IN HAUSA LANGUAGE I SAID THIS BECAUSE AKWALA AMARO IFE MEANING P$NIS NO GET SENSE AND I QUICKLY REPLIED HIM, MY HUSBAND DOES NOT HAVE TIME FOR WOMEN OUTSIDE NOT TO TALK OF HOUSE MAIDS SO I KNOW MY HUSBAND PAPA.
WE ENDED THE MATTER AND SO IT REMAINS TILL DATE LITTLE DID WE KNOW THAT THE POLYGAMY THING WOULD COME FROM HIS GRANDCHILD, BUT PAPA, I PROMISE YOU, WHERE EVER YOU ARE, IT STILL STANDS AS YOU STATED IT.
TRUST ME WE ARE NOT SLEEPING.”

This is no surprise to many as Rita Edochie has always been in support of Yul Edochie’s first wife, May Yul Edochie.

The veteran actress has always spoken again Yul and his second wife, Judy Austin which recently led the actor to unfollow his aunt, just hours after she first drummed support for May.

Recall Rita Edochie took to Instagram to assure May Edochie of victory in her marriage. Standing solidly behind May, Rita assured her that no one can take her home, as she has no competition.

She added that it’s just a matter of time. Sharing photos of Yul’s first wife, she wrote:

“It’s your home nwam. No worries no competition. It’s a question of time”.

Following this, Yul Edochie severed ties with the veteran actress, probably for not taking his side. A check on Rita Edochie’s Instagram followers shows that she has also unfollowed the actor.

Kesiena Tony Adjekpovu, popularly known as Kess, has said that participating in Big Brother Naija can make life harder, offering a candid reflection on the challenges that may come with the reality television experience.

The former Big Brother Naija housemate made the comment in a statement shared on social media, where he suggested that winning or simply taking part in the reality show does not necessarily make life easier after leaving the house.

“Big Brother makes your life harder,” Kess said.

The remark has drawn attention because life after reality television can bring a different set of expectations, particularly as former housemates adjust to increased public attention and the pressure that can accompany visibility.

Kess was a housemate on the seventh season of Big Brother Naija, which aired in 2022. He entered the show as a businessman and was among the contestants who competed for the season’s grand prize.

His time on the programme also placed him in the public eye, giving viewers an opportunity to follow his personality and relationships inside the house.

Kess’s latest comment offers a more reflective view of the reality TV platform, suggesting that the experience does not end when a contestant leaves the house.

However, he did not provide further details in the available post explaining which specific aspects of life after Big Brother he was referring to.
