Nollywood veteran Pa James to feature in Lucky Udu’s interview series, sparking nostalgia among fans of Papa Ajasco

Nollywood veteran Kayode Olasehinde Ajirebi, popularly known as Pa James, is set to feature in an upcoming interview by Lucky Udu.

Pa James rose to prominence through the hit comedy series Papa Ajasco and Company, which aired in the 1990s and early 2000s and became a household favourite across Nigeria.

A preview of the interview shared on Wednesday shows the veteran actor in high spirits as he introduced himself, sparking excitement among fans.

In the caption accompanying the teaser, Lucky Udu wrote: “Coming soon! I just found Pa James from Papa Ajasco. How many of you remember him? Interview dropping soon on Lucky Udu Experience on YouTube!”

The upcoming feature follows Udu’s viral interview with Abiodun Ayoyinka, who spoke about the challenges he faced despite his fame.

Ayoyinka also revealed that the Papa Ajasco character is legally owned by Wale Adenuga, limiting his use of the role.
