Omowunmi Aloba, widow of late singer Mohbad, says she found out about his burial online and was not informed of the arrangements

Omowunmi Aloba, widow of the late Nigerian music star **Mohbad**, has revealed that she was not informed about her husband’s burial and only found out about it online.

Mohbad, born **Ilerioluwa Aloba**, passed away on **September 12, 2023**, and was buried less than **24 hours later** in **Ikorodu, Lagos State** by his father, **Joseph Aloba**.

However, Omowunmi claims that it was only through the intervention of friends and family that her father-in-law was stopped from burying him on the night of his death.

Omowunmi also revealed shocking details about the circumstances surrounding her husband’s passing. She stated that a **nurse administered an injection**, which led to a fatal reaction.

When Mohbad’s manager attempted to get the nurse arrested, she said Joseph Aloba insisted on letting the nurse go.

She further alleged that despite multiple pleas, her father-in-law proceeded with the burial without informing her.

Even the day they wanted to bury him, he didn’t inform me. I got to know online,” she said.
