Veteran Nigerian film actress, Margaret Olayinka, best known as Iya Gbonkan has again made headlines following a video of her in her newly completed house.

Recall Iya Gbonkan had cried out to Nigerians for a car and crowdfunding kickstarted by a pastor Gabriel Agbala.

After receiving almost N5 million from well meaning Nigerians, Iya Gbonkan single-handedly received a car from a fan and the cash on ground was diverted into her building project which was incomplete.

In a fresh update, the movie star who sat with the aforementioned pastor in the now completed building could not hide her joy.

The Yoruba actress while speaking with the pastor, explained that her joy has filled her up, such that she’s not hungry for food.

Iya Gbonkan added that she never thought she could live in a house as good as the one she got. In her words:

“I haven’t been hungry all day because my joy knows no bounds. I never thought I could live in a good house.”

In the video, the pastor gave an account of how the money was spent and claimed that about N4.3 million was invested to complete the house. He added that the house has upgraded from having just a well to having a borehole and running water from all its taps. Pastor Gabriel said a brand new generator was also bought.

Although the whole house wasn’t captured, the part that was obvious in the video showed it had been painted and looked grand.

Recall after Iya Gbonkan cried out for help, a certain Pastor Gabriel paid her a visit in Osogbo and began sourcing funds from kind-hearted people all over the world for Iya Gbonkan towards a car and house project.

On June 8, A fan identified as Mrs Omobolanle Olatise single-handedly donated a car to Iya Gbonkan, asides the earlier cash donation.

In the video which captured the heartwarming moment the veteran was handed the car key, it was obvious that Iya Gbonkan’s joy knew no bounds.

On receiving the vehicle, she got into it and posed happily. She prayed heartily for her fan while seating comfortably in the driver’s seat.
