Omoni Oboli Love In Every Word copyright issue

Omoni Oboli’s trending movie “Love In Every Word” is removed from YouTube after a copyright claim by Chinonso Obiora Skyberry, sparking outrage online

Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omoni Oboli has faced another setback on YouTube, as her movie *Love In Every Word* was taken down due to a copyright infringement claim.

The romantic drama had been a huge success, amassing over 7 million views in just 72 hours before being removed from the platform.

The claim was filed by Chinonso Obiora Skyberry, a Canadian-based network engineer who owns Skyberry Studios, a photography and aerial videography business located in Abuja. Skyberry alleged that *Love In Every Word* violated his intellectual property rights.

As a result, a message now appears on Omoni Oboli’s YouTube page, stating, “This video is no longer available due to copyright claims by Chinonso Obiora Skyberry.”

The removal of the movie has sparked widespread outrage among fans and social media users, many of whom have expressed sympathy for the actress. The unexpected takedown, especially after the movie’s success, has left many questioning the validity of the claim.

On Twitter, fans voiced their frustration and disbelief. One user, @MaziOlisaemeka, questioned: “Why exactly did YouTube take down that Omoni Oboli’s movie after it crossed the 6M mark? That’s really unfair.”

Another, @IrebamiOlakanm1, pointed out that this wasn’t the first time Oboli had faced such an issue: “Why are they always doing this to Omoni Oboli? This is the second time. Not when the movie ranked many views. I pity her, sha.”

Meanwhile, @EnochOwolabi expressed concern about the legitimacy of the claim: “How can people be this wicked? How do you claim rights to something that isn’t yours? A movie with over 7 million views is gone. I find it hard to believe that Omoni Oboli would be so careless as not to copyright her work.”

Some fans also suggested foul play. Twitter user @Princexdeybo called the incident “wickedness,” while @Firstladyxxo expressed her shock at the situation: “Jesus, 7 million gone just like that.”

This controversy marks the second time that Omoni Oboli has faced similar issues on YouTube, leaving fans frustrated and uncertain about the future of her work online.

The actress, known for her strong presence in Nollywood and her advocacy for fair treatment in the entertainment industry, has yet to publicly comment on the situation.

As the drama continues to unfold, many are hoping for a resolution that will allow Omoni Oboli’s film to return to YouTube and for the actress to regain the recognition her work deserves.
