At a ceremony held Thursday in Abuja, the Minister of Education, Dr. Tunji Alausa, presented the award to 17-year-old Nafisah, whose exceptional communication and critical thinking skills earned her top honours in the TeenEagle Global Finals, competing against students from 69 countries.

This latest recognition follows a fully-funded scholarship previously awarded to Nafisah and her teammates, Rukaiya Fema and Khadija Kalli, by the Atiku Abubakar Foundation.

The Foundation praised the trio’s “remarkable success” in a letter signed by its Acting Secretary, Prof. Ahmadu Shehu.

“Nafisah Abdullahi’s performance reflects not just personal excellence but also the untapped potential of Nigeria’s youth on the global stage,” the Foundation noted.

In a proud moment for the nation, Nafisah stood out for her command of English, confident articulation, and analytical depth—skills that clinched her category win in the prestigious academic competition.
