Nollywood actress and philanthropist Tonto Dikeh has shared a deeply personal account of her spiritual journey, recounting past struggles and what she described as a transformative return to faith during a gospel event in Tanzania.

Speaking before a congregation of worshippers, Tonto Dikeh revealed that she experienced years of confusion and made decisions she now regrets, including involvement in a cult and engaging in practices she described as spiritually harmful.

She told the audience that a turning point came when she felt a divine call, which led her back to her faith and set her on a new path.

In a follow-up post on social media, she explained that her spiritual journey included what she described as an instruction to “clean His house,” a task she initially questioned but later embraced as symbolic of inner transformation and obedience.

The actress recently announced a significant change to her public identity, dropping the title “King” from her name after eight years and asking to be addressed as “Evangelist Tonto Dikeh,” a move she attributed to spiritual guidance.

Her renewed public expressions of faith come alongside broader personal reflections, including a recent moment of reconciliation involving her former partner Olakunle Churchill and their son, signalling a period of healing after years of public disputes.
