Orezi shares his experience of receiving N30 million from a woman he met in Abuja after a sexual encounter, claiming it’s a privilege many celebrities enjoy

Nigerian singer Orezi, known for his hit song *Ogede*, has recounted a surprising encounter with a woman in Abuja that led to a significant gift of N30 million. In a candid interview with Echo Room, Orezi shared details of the encounter, which occurred in 2016.

According to Orezi, he was not in a relationship with the woman, but the two had a brief hookup. Despite not asking for any financial gift, the woman gifted him the hefty sum as an appreciation for their time together. Orezi explained that it wasn’t payment for sex but rather a gesture of affection.

“She gave me the money because she liked me,” Orezi said. “If you like a lady, won’t you spend on her? We weren’t dating, but we had something going on.

I didn’t ask her for the money. She gave it to me willingly as a fine boy. We clubbed together, had fun, and went home together. It was one nice aboki [Hausa] woman.”

The singer, who was in Abuja for a performance at the time, recalled how he was taken aback by the woman’s generosity. After they parted ways, she checked in with him, and shortly after, Orezi received a message asking for his account details. When he provided them, the woman sent him N30 million.

“I was shocked. I wasn’t expecting it. When I got to Lagos, she sent a message to check up on me and requested my account details. I sent her my account details, and she sent me N30 million. When I showed my friends the alert, they were shocked that a woman could gift a man such an amount,” Orezi explained.

The singer also pointed out that many of his colleagues in the entertainment industry enjoy similar privileges, claiming that it’s a “normal thing” in the celebrity world.

“A lot of male celebrities enjoy the same privilege. I feel like it’s a normal thing. I know a couple of artists who do. I’m sure they enjoy the same privilege. The same way there’s ‘fine girl privilege,’ there’s also the privilege of being a celebrity,” he added.
