Women Mega Rally 2026 entertainment committee unveiled as Nollywood stars and officials prepare for Abuja empowerment event on May 5

The organisers of the National Women Mega Empowerment and Rally 2026 have unveiled a high-profile entertainment committee comprising government officials and leading Nollywood stars ahead of the event scheduled for 5 May in Abuja.

Entertainment highlights of Women Mega Rally 2026 committee announcement was made as preparations intensify for the large-scale gathering expected to hold at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium.

The initiative, linked to the office of Imaan Sulaiman-Ibrahim and the Federal Ministry of Women Affairs, is designed to coordinate cultural and creative activities for the empowerment programme.

Organisers say the event, themed “The Power of 10 Million: One Voice! One Movement!! One Choice!!!”, is expected to attract millions of women from across Nigeria in what is being described as a major mobilisation effort.

In a statement, organisers described the rally as more than an entertainment showcase, calling it a “movement in motion” aimed at celebrating women, promoting unity, and inspiring national engagement through creativity.

The newly unveiled committee features a wide range of entertainment figures, including Nollywood actors such as Funke Akindele, Toyin Abraham, and Joke Silva, alongside several other industry professionals and cultural figures.

Co-chairpersons include Rahama Sadau, Eniola Badmus, Ngozi Okoh, and Tola Akerele, who will oversee planning and coordination of entertainment activities for the event.

According to the organisers, the committee is responsible for ensuring that the programme is engaging, vibrant, and memorable, with a strong focus on cultural expression and unity.
