Police operatives tracked Portable to Abeokuta, Ogun State, where he was apprehended at 7:25 p.m. on Sunday, 13 April 2025.

The singer was subsequently transported to Ilorin for questioning. “Upon his arrival, the suspect’s statement was recorded in the presence of legal representatives from both sides,” SP Ejire-Adeyemi stated.

The police have confirmed that Portable remains in custody as they finalise preparations to arraign him in court. This arrest marks a significant escalation in the ongoing feud between Portable and Saheed Osupa, which has captured public attention due to its contentious nature and the serious allegations involved.
