Priscilla Ojo converts to Islam following her marriage to Tanzanian musician Juma Jux. The daughter of Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo is now practising Islam after what her husband described as a patient and respectful process.

Juma Jux confirmed the conversion during an interview with Afrik Media. He revealed that convincing Priscilla was challenging at first, but he sought guidance from Islamic scholars to handle the matter with care.

“It was a little difficult convincing my wife to become a Muslim,” he said. “Religious leaders taught me how to approach it gently, and with time, she understood.”

Their wedding, which took place in both Nigeria and Tanzania, attracted attention across Africa. Juma described how he had dreamt about the ceremony, calling himself lucky to have married someone with shared values.

Priscilla, who was raised in a Christian household, has yet to make a public statement. However, the news has generated strong reactions on social media, where fans have expressed both surprise and support.
