Sarah Martins says she will support Seyi Tinubu in politics if he contests, sparking reactions over her loyalty comments and public stance

Nollywood actress Sarah Martins declared in a social media post that she would openly campaign for Seyi Tinubu if he chooses to contest for political office, a statement that has triggered renewed debate online over her public political alignment and personal loyalty.

Sarah Martins Seyi Tinubu support remark was shared on Instagram, where the actress responded to critics who have labelled her a “political tool” due to her consistent public praise of Seyi Tinubu.

In the post, Sarah Martins stated that she would “loudly campaign” for Seyi Tinubu in any future political race, insisting that her support is personal and not tied to the administration of President Bola Tinubu.

She emphasised that her loyalty is directed towards Seyi Tinubu as an individual, adding that she remains unapologetic about her stance despite growing criticism on social media.

The actress further addressed ongoing reactions to her street feeding initiative in Lagos, noting that she is working towards acquiring a truck to expand her charity outreach to rural communities.

Sarah Martins has recently remained in the spotlight following an incident in which Lagos State environmental officials disrupted one of her food distribution programmes in Lekki, an action authorities said was taken due to violations of environmental regulations.

Following the encounter, she alleged that her materials were seized during the operation, while state authorities maintained that such activities must be carried out in designated locations.
