British rapper Skepta reacts after Nigerian singer Portable calls out Olamide, sparking concerns among fans that he might be next

 

British rapper Skepta has expressed concern after Nigerian singer Portable publicly criticised another former collaborator, Olamide.

Known for his frequent online outbursts, Portable recently mocked the YBNL boss over his alleged fallout with ex-signee Asake.

Portable claimed that Olamide only contributed a verse to the remix of his breakout track *Zazu* instead of offering him a record deal.

He also accused the rapper of “snatching” his producer, dancer, and promoter.

As the controversy unfolded, fans turned their attention to Skepta, who collaborated with Portable on the song *Tony Montana* last year. The UK rapper soon found himself trending on X (formerly Twitter), prompting him to react.

“Why am I trending? Lol,” Skepta wrote in a post. When a fan suggested he already knew the reason, he responded, “I’ve just seen Portable is dragging somebody again. Apparently, I’m next. We dey wait lol.”
