Nollywood actress Teniola Aladese says she avoids dating actors and prefers producers or directors, describing dating in Lagos as stressful but manageable

Nollywood actress Teniola Aladese has revealed her dating preferences, stating that she is not interested in romantic relationships with fellow actors.

She said she would, however, consider dating producers or directors within the film industry.

Aladese made the disclosure while speaking on the *I Said What I Said* podcast.

She described her direct messages as constantly flooded with suitors.

“Men have audacity. If I open my DMs for you, you will see a lot,” she said.

The actress also described dating in Lagos as stressful and chaotic.

However, she noted that her personal experiences have mostly been positive.

According to her, she often knows after a first date whether she will continue seeing someone.

“I already know that you will never see me again,” she added.

Aladese said she avoids dating actors due to industry dynamics.

She stated a preference for individuals in higher production roles like directors and producers.

Teniola began her career as a production manager before transitioning fully into acting.

She gained recognition for her role in *Jemeji* and won the Trailblazer Award at the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards in 2022.
