Taking to Instagram, the box-office star shared photos proudly displaying her medal, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the honour. She described the award as one dedicated to individuals who continue to uplift and impact lives positively, both within and beyond their fields.

“Honoured to receive the Golden Legends Honour Medal at this year’s @allstarscharity — awarded annually to individuals who continue to uplift and impact the lives of others positively. To keep the spirit alive, I’m donating five bags of rice towards the cause. Together, we say #GameOnHungerOff,” she wrote.

In celebration of the award, Toyin extended her generosity by donating five bags of rice to the charity’s initiative, saying it was her way of keeping the spirit of giving alive.

Fondly called Oversabi Aunty, Toyin expressed gratitude for the recognition and the opportunity to inspire others through her art and philanthropy.

Just days earlier, she shared a reflective message on social media, revealing that she needed “God’s strength and direction now more than ever,” and describing herself as a “prophet,” explaining that her films often serve as a form of therapy and inspiration to many.

Earlier this year, Toyin’s hit movie Alakada Bad and Boujee ranked as the fifth highest-grossing Nollywood release of all time, further cementing her reputation as one of the industry’s most successful and beloved figures.
