Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has announced the passing of veteran Yoruba actress Iya Ile Okan, expressing deep sorrow over her death.

In a post shared on Instagram, Afod wrote:

“We finally lost her. May her perfect soul continue to rest in peace. It’s a final wrap.”

The actor, who had recently visited the late actress at her home in Ogun State, revealed earlier that she was struggling with health and financial challenges. During the visit, Afod appealed to the public for assistance, noting that she needed urgent medical support.

“Iya Ile Okan really needs God’s intervention,” he had said in a previous post.
