Renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter Yemi Alade recently shared her preferences for the ideal man, describing a balance of humour, composure, and modesty.

Speaking on BET Africa’s new show *OFF THE TOP*, hosted by media personality VJ Adams, the *Johnny* hitmaker opened up about the attributes she finds attractive, especially emphasising the importance of humour without over-the-top antics.

When asked about the physical traits she notices first in a man, Yemi responded, “I think beards are good. It would definitely be the eyes, the composure, the height, and eventually what comes out of that mouth. Funny is good but not a clown. There’s a tiny line there.”

Adding to her description, Yemi noted that she values modesty, explaining, “There isn’t too much braggadociousness but there’s also the ‘let them know’ vibe. I don’t like people that brag.”

*OFF THE TOP*, which premiered on September 5, 2024, airs on BET Africa DStv and GOtv at 21:00 WAT/22:00 CAT.
