Nollywood actress Bimbo Ademoye, paid an emotional tribute to fellow actor Alex Ekubo following confirmation of his death, joining colleagues across the Nigerian film industry in mourning the late star.

Ademoye shared a tribute message alongside a memorial flyer related to burial arrangements, describing the late actor in heartfelt terms and expressing her grief publicly.

In her post, she wrote, “Gone but never forgotten! Fly high, king,” a message that reflected the emotional weight of the moment as fans and colleagues continued to react to the news.

The actress also altered her social media profile image in honour of the late actor, a gesture similarly observed among other industry colleagues, including actress Nancy Isime, who also paid tribute online.

Alex Ekubo, a prominent Nollywood actor known for his work in film and television, passed away after a battle with cancer at the age of 40.

According to family statements, he died following complications arising from advanced metastatic kidney cancer at Evercare Hospital after a brief but courageous struggle.
