Alexx Ekubo’s sister Chioma shares her grief after his death, recalling memories and the bond they shared through the years

Chioma Ekubo, the biological sister of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo, has expressed her deep grief following the death of her brother, describing the loss as a painful absence she is struggling to accept.

Chioma shared her emotions in a post on Instagram, where she reflected on their close relationship and the memories they created together.

She said her brother’s passing left her devastated, recalling how they had looked forward to growing older together and sharing more moments as siblings.

“My ANGELBEING, it’s been a cold Earth since you left with your warmth. How do I navigate life without you in it, my brother?” Chioma wrote.

She added that his death was not what they had imagined and said she would continue to miss his jokes, advice and guidance.

“This was not the plan NNAM. I always looked forward to old age with you, your jokes, your advices and admonition,” she said.

Chioma described the pain of losing her brother as overwhelming, saying thoughts of him remained constant since his passing.

“You hurt me brother by taking of the way you did without a proper good bye. I’m shattered beyond words,” she wrote.

Her tribute adds to the emotional reactions from colleagues, friends and fans who have continued to remember the actor’s contributions to Nollywood and his impact on those around him.

Alexx Ekubo was widely known for his work in Nigerian cinema, where he built a reputation as one of the industry’s recognisable actors through roles in several popular films and television productions.
