Lateef Adedimeji reveals his shock after discovering wife Mo Bimpe was expecting triplets following years of waiting for children

Lateef Adedimeji, Nollywood actor and filmmaker, has shared his emotional reaction to discovering that his wife, Mo Bimpe, was expecting triplets, describing the moment as both surprising and deeply fulfilling after years of hoping for children.

Adedimeji opened up about the pregnancy journey during an interview with Morayo Afolabi-Brown, explaining that he took extra care of his wife throughout the period because of how long they had waited to welcome children.

The actor described Mo Bimpe as a strong woman and expressed gratitude for the arrival of their sons, saying the unexpected news came with a mixture of emotions.

“When you’ve been up and expecting, and then it now finally happened, you will pamper her, but she’s a strong woman,” Adedimeji said.

“It was shocking for me; at the same time, it was a mixed feeling. When you’ve been expecting something, and then it came beyond your expectations, that means the waiting is not a bad one.”

The filmmaker said the experience reminded him that some moments unfold beyond human expectations, adding that he was grateful for the outcome of their journey.

“Everything is in God’s hands because they are boys,” he said.

Adedimeji also revealed that his wife may wish to have a daughter in the future, joking that they could consider trying for one more child.

“I know my wife will love to have a female so we can do one more round, maybe,” he added.

The couple, who have remained one of Nollywood’s closely followed celebrity pairs since their marriage, had previously spoken about their desire to start a family.
