Speaking in a recent interview, Obasi recalled the difficult period after their first wedding anniversary, when she said she was subjected to harsh comments about her teeth and physical appearance.

The actress said some critics told her to stop laughing publicly because of her dentition, describing the experience as painful but one she eventually learned to handle.

“I was dragged on my first wedding anniversary because of my teeth. Trolls told me to stop laughing publicly because of my dentition,” Obasi said.

She also revealed that the criticism began after Stan Nze shared her photograph online, with some social media users questioning their marriage because they believed she looked much older than him.

“When my husband posted my picture for the first time, people said I was 10 years older than him. They also said it was a movie because they didn’t believe he would actually marry me,” she said.

Obasi explained that the online reactions also affected her husband, saying comments from one of his interviews were taken out of context and presented differently on social media.

“My husband granted an interview one time; his words were twisted on social media,” she added.

Despite the criticism, the actress said she remained committed to her marriage and refused to allow online opinions to define her personal life.
