The 68-year-old cleric contributed to the track “Yea & Amen,” released on December 26, 2025, coinciding with Baptista’s birthday.

The singer described the collaboration as a spiritual milestone, saying Olukoya’s voice added depth, authority, and meaning to the project.

“Spiritually, this collaboration is deeply symbolic and intentional. It goes beyond music into alignment, covering, and spiritual authority,” Baptista told Premium Times.

She noted that Olukoya’s voice has traditionally been heard in prayers and teachings rather than commercial music.

“For that same voice to appear on a song marks a shift from the altar to a sound that reaches beyond church walls,” she added.

Baptista said the collaboration allows Olukoya’s prayers and teachings to be channelled through music as a medium for impact, testimony, and victory.

Baptista also revealed that I Won was born from years of personal struggles, prayers, and endurance.

“Every lyric came from a place of survival. I wrote from broken prayers to bold declarations,” she said, noting that while the album was recorded between 2023 and 2025, the journey behind it spanned seven challenging years.
