One Battle After Another wins four awards at the 83rd Golden Globes, including best film, director, and screenplay, leading 2026 winners list

One Battle After Another emerged as the biggest winner at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, taking home four prizes, including best film (musical or comedy), best director, best screenplay, and best supporting actress.

The star-studded ceremony also witnessed Hamnet claim the top prize for best film (drama), while Rose Byrne was honoured as best actress in a musical or comedy for her role in If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.

Netflix’s animated musical, KPop Demon Hunters, secured awards for best animated feature and best original song.

Paul Thomas Anderson, director and screenwriter of One Battle After Another, celebrated a standout night as both his direction and script were recognised for their cinematic excellence.

Teyana Taylor won best supporting actress, highlighting the film’s wide acclaim.

In acting categories, Wagner Moura won best male actor in a drama for The Secret Agent, Jessie Buckley won best female actor in a drama for Hamnet, and Timothée Chalamet took home best male actor in a musical or comedy for Marty Supreme.

Stellan Skarsgård won best supporting actor for Sentimental Value, while the international category saw The Secret Agent (Brazil) recognised as best non-English language film.

Television awards were dominated by The Pitt, which won best drama series, and its star Noah Wyle earned best male actor in a drama series.

Rhea Seehorn of Pluribus won best female actor in a drama series, while musical or comedy series accolades went to The Studio, with Seth Rogen and Jean Smart taking the leading acting honours.

Limited series or TV movies were celebrated through Adolescence, with Stephen Graham and Michelle Williams recognised for their performances in male and female categories, respectively.

The Golden Globes 2026 ceremony highlighted the best achievements in film and television over the past year, celebrating global talent, storytelling, and creativity in the entertainment industry.
