The actress made the claims during a recent appearance on the Talk to B podcast, where she gave a detailed account of what she described as a painful and traumatic marital experience.

According to her, tensions began just days after the ceremony, triggered by a minor interaction with a male acquaintance who sent her congratulatory messages.

She alleged that the situation escalated into repeated violence, stating that she endured physical assaults over time, with intervention attempts reportedly made by their landlord due to the severity of the incidents.

Basira Beere further claimed that she remained in the marriage longer than she should have due to pressure to be patient and endure, which she said was influenced by advice from her parents at the time.

In an emotional narration, the actress alleged that she suffered the loss of four pregnancies as a result of the violent episodes, describing the experience as deeply distressing and life-altering.

She also recalled that during one of the most severe incidents, she was left injured and covered in blood, adding that the matter later gained public attention on social media.
