The 43-year-old actress opened up about her early struggles, nearly giving up, and how a prophetic word at Elevation Church renewed her drive.

“Pastor Sam Adeyemi said, ‘It will make sense. Stay put,’” Blessing recalled. “I held on to those words and kept going. It’s been a journey of grace.”

From high school drama clubs to small roles in university that affected her studies, Obasi paused her dreams to focus on academics and work in a top oil firm—before reigniting her passion for acting. Despite pressure to quit for a “real” job, her best friend stayed loyal, encouraging her through every hurdle.

Obasi has since built a solid career rooted in conviction. “I won’t take on roles that dishonor God or involve nudity. My value system matters,” she asserted.

Her relationship with God remains central. “We’re rooted in Christ. He’s my best friend, especially since my mum passed.”

Blessing, now married to fellow actor Stan Nze, starred in the 2024 Amazon Prime film Momiwa and recently made her debut as a producer with Radio Voice a faith-driven film exploring redemption and second chances.
